Another beautiful assignment completed: A slim ‘state of the art’ steel roof with lighting for an Amsterdam property. Together with the architect office Newkantoor from Hilversum – responsible for the design – Simply Steel started working on this project.
The historic building, located next to the Amsterdam Vondelpark, had a wooden roof with thick styles. Now the building is equipped with a beautiful stylish steel variant (measurements 3650×2500 mm) with special sun-resistant and self-cleaning glass.
The new steel roof was lifted by a crane on the roof and then mounted on a structural foundation. After the steelwork has been placed, the glass panels are fixed on the spot and the lighting is attached to the appropriate light ring, which is mounted on the steel roof. The result; more light at home and an eye catcher for the interior.
